I recently completed the Food & Beverage course, and it has been a truly insightful experience. The course provided a clear understanding of market trends, customer behavior, value creation, and innovation in the F&B industry. I particularly enjoyed the trend scouting activity, which encouraged me to look at my local environment in Pakistan and analyze real consumer habits. The structure of the course was easy to follow, with practical examples and well-explained concepts. I liked how the activities encouraged participation, self-reflection, and application of theory to real-life cases. It was also helpful to connect local practices with global market perspectives, which gave me a broader vision of how the industry works. What stood out to me the most was learning how trends are not just fashion, but long-term shifts in consumer behavior. This understanding gave me new ideas on how businesses can adapt and innovate by responding to these changes. Overall, this course has enhanced my knowledge of the food and beverage sector, improved my analytical skills, and motivated me to observe the industry more critically. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in hospitality, entrepreneurship, or food innovation.

I am passionate about my educational and career goals and I believe that this course will provide me with the skills and knowledge I need to achieve them.

I really liked and enjoyed the course over all and the teacher was more than a professional with a very wide and clear vision. There was only one thing that was not very enough for me. I am an example learner and I can honestly say that for other people like me as well that the examples for the topics or titles should have been more and more. Was there no examples? Of course there was and they were quality examples. However I would have been more appreciated if there were more and variety products (not only Wine or Vodka) and more examples. Thank you :)

It's my first Coursera course and I really learned a lot from it. It was worth my time. My concerns are the following:

The course needs to be updated as the examples are now outdated.

Most of the links in the pdf presentations don't work because again they're outdated.

Most of the examples had to do with the alcohol industry whether it was wine, beer etc. I wish there was more variety and less of those.

The name of this course is a little misleading - it's more about brand management and marketing within the F&B sector. I found it very informative, and really appreciate the large number of real-world marketing examples that were given. However, I'm only giving it four stars because the course material is getting old, with many links that no longer work. Please give this course the update it deserves!

A very insightful course with nice Italian touches via the interviews of industry people and experts. I enjoyed the course a lot! Examples were many yet they were missing in some case to make it easier to understand broader concepts. Finally since this course was done around 2016-17 a lot of the links of additional reading/ videos etc are not working, so i would kindly ask to update them somehow.
