About the Course

Biostatistics is the application of statistical reasoning to the life sciences, and it is the key to unlocking the data gathered by researchers and the evidence presented in the scientific literature. A contemporary review of statistical theory and application principals to either add to or interpret scientific literature. A necessary everyday tool for research scientists.

The Course was very challenging and fun to complete, I failed several times however whenever I went back and attended class again I understood better.... and got excited about the course more

A little too generic

Thankfully, no peer assignments. Very elaborate quiz questions, often with subtle wording. Nontrivial number of typos. All the quizzes can be attempted 3 times in 8 hours, which is fair enough, but the final "project quiz" can only be taken once every 24 hours, which is an annoying set up. I prefer to review my mistakes immediately and try again, if needed.

There are much better courses to learn biostatistics online. This course will make learning biostatistics much more difficult for a beginner, possibly making you want to dislike the subject.
