The good: Excellent overall introduction; concise presentations; clear explanation of fundamentals. The bad: Forces learners to choose fictitious project, which has marginal relevance; because the portfolio project is required, it limits the ability of the learner to explore as the project carries over across courses. The ugly: videos often freeze, requiring restart. Overall, recommend course to those with a basic understanding of analysis; however, learner should have expectations that the courses require additional/outside study and practice.

Quite a nice introduction to Python. Learning a programming language requires a lot of time and dedication to achieve something. I think Google is aware that it only has a limited number of hours to teach the basics and it's pretty well done. Based on my own experience, it will take many hours beyond the scope of this course to master Python and to be able to use it as a Data professional but it's still a good starting point. Reading the documentation and practicing are keys to go forward. Nice introduction.

No one grades your project at the end, so that is a bit disappointing. But I guess it's ultimately on you either way whether you are prepared going into interviews with these skills. The combination of videos and readings were very helpful. Most of the time it was clear what previous material I was to use to complete an assignment.
