Dr. Lina Mohjazi is an Associate Professor in Sustainable Wireless Communications at the James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK. She earned her Ph.D. from the 5G/6G Innovation Centre at the University of Surrey, UK, all in electrical and electronic engineering. Her research focuses on green and sustainable wireless communications, IoT, energy-efficient network resource allocation, and beyond 5G applications, supported by a multi-million-pound research portfolio. Dr. Mohjazi is recognized as a UK Exceptional Global Talent by the Royal Academy of Engineering and has authored over 100 publications. She has received numerous awards for teaching and research, including the IEEE WIE UK&I Excellence Award, and is listed among the "100 Brilliant and Inspiring Women in 6G" (2024, 2025). She serves as Women in Engineering Engagement Lead at IEEE ComSoc UK&I, a Fellow of WES, and a Senior Member of IEEE, while leading major educational programs, including a center for doctoral training.
